The Last Week Tonight host slammed the network for airing false flag conspiracy theories.
John Oliver called out Fox News for promoting conspiracy theories about the bomb scare targeting prominent Democratic leaders, including former President Barack Obama as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton.
At the risk of sounding like a far right-wing lunatic, I have to say that I believe that this whole thing was an elaborate hoax, the networks Geraldo Rivera said at one point.
Rivera used the wrong choice of words, Oliver said.
