The arrest report says Bush walked into the Kroger, pulled a gun from his waist and shot a man in the back of the head, then kept shooting him multiple times "as he was down on the floor." The report says Bush then reholstered his gun, walked outside and killed a woman in the parking lot. Each victim died of multiple gunshot wounds, Rogers said. Rogers said Bush was standing at arm's length when he shot the woman in the back of the head.

(50,302 posts)3. There was very little national coverage. I assume it was because the body count wasn't
high enough, but who knows. There should have been coverage, but I guess race-based killings aren't out of the ordinary in this country and media seems to gravitate to whatever makes ratings.

(4,066 posts)6. The body count was less than 4. So it's not "mass" killing. No news
If they guy had been successful getting into the church just a little earlier while people were still there for service it would have been another massacre.
It's clear he intended to do a mass shooting of African Americans.

(24,931 posts)13. Unfortunately, I don't have cable.
I looked online for coverage of the shooting and didn't find much. Maybe I wasn't using the right search terms.

a Good Guy With A Gun who confronted the shooter, yet never fired a shot.....
