I think I've figured out the real difference between the two campaigns.

Obama and Biden are having the time of their lives -- Obama bending down so that a small child can touch his hair (that was so cute!). and wisecracking about Romney putting things on the roof of his car; Biden making statements the Romney campaign doesn't like and hitting back with obvious glee when they complain. Meanwhile, Romney and Ryan both act as though they would rather be having dental work done than actually interacting with the peasantry (aka voters). I think it's hilarious.
