Trump is reportedly devastated by today's events.

He’s reportedly “heartbroken” that despite the fact the Pittsburgh shooter was spurred to act because of the fears he stoked concerning the Latin American caravan, the shooter nonetheless still saw Trump as a globalist as opposed to a nationalist.

I've not seen evidence to support that assertion.

I'm fairly certain he feels something about this that he is mistaking as heartbreak, but an excess of empathy is not exactly something associated with him.

He can try to deny it; he can try to deflect it; he can blame the media and others. The truth of the matter is that it was his election and his rhetoric that has mobilized the circumstances that we now face on a daily basis.
