MSNBC’s “AM Joy” on Saturday reported on conservatives “gaslighting” America after a supporter of President Donald Trump was arrested for the MAGABomber serial bombings targeting critics of the Republican administration.
“Malcolm Nance, that’s right-wing media, right-wing conservative Republican leaders and down to their base. I feel like we almost are living under the Duarte regime, or what Erdoğan might do, or what Putin might do — that kind of gaslighting of the public,” Reid noted. “Is that too far off base?”
“No, it’s not far off base,” the counter-terrorism expert replied.
“To be quite honest, I’m disgusted this morning at listening to these people,” he explained.
