He comes out with his scripted teleprompter "presidential" remark. Not written by him, and doubtfully even reviewed prior to it showing up on the teleprompter. He reads it, the media loves his words, then he heads to a rally or takes to twitter and we *once again* see how he really feels and what he really thinks.

They should just stop airing these "FAKE sentiments!!" It's just another of his thousands of lies and doesn't deserve any air time at all.

First of all, he’s lying.

Those of us in the reality-based universe know he’s lying and so ignore the sentiment.

Those on the right don’t believe him because they know he’s just saying what he’s been told to say, and they know he supports the shooter and bomber, as do his cult followers.

The post–truth era is truly a weird place to be.
