Ryan ‘Absolutely’ Thinks Romney Can Win On Medicare

Paul Ryan embraced his campaign's new attack ad in an interview with Fox News Tuesday, repeating the charge that President Obama cut Medicare spending by $716 billion -- and affirmed that he thinks it will be a winning issue for the Romney-Ryan campaign in November.

"Polls suggest that people automatically think Republicans are hostile for Medicare," said Hume. "Can it be a winning issue for you now?"

"Absolutely," said Ryan. "We're the ones offering a plan to save Medicare, protect Medicare. Strengthen Medicare. We are the ones who are not raiding Medicare to pay for Obamacare."
