My God #TreeofLife synagogue in #Pittsburgh is the loving, dignified place where my sister and I attended, and our parents taught, Sunday school; where I was bar mitzah; where my sister wore to class a velvet jumper my mother made; the deep Jewish roots of my own tree of life.

(25,556 posts)I didn't say that and that's argumentative.
He often talks about Trump as though he's a variation of the norm. Then when something grotesque happens, he speaks out. Tired of it "from all sides".

(9,287 posts)But I dont think Fineman finds the Con is normal. Here is a recent Fineman tweet:
Theres some truth to this: @realDonaldTrump has made the outrageous seem normal or at least tolerable by exhausting otherwise committed peoples capacity for outrage. That we could get used to him after the car crash that elected him is scary.
He sees the anti Semitic rhetoric coming from the right. The Cons
crowd was chanting lock him upabout Soros the other day. This shooting and the MAGAbomber are from the same infected limb. I think Fineman is a good person whose heart is in the right place.
I dont seek an argument with you PCIntern. I admire your posts.

(129,096 posts)In fact he has been one of the few to cut through all the equivocating stuff from other panelists.
I remember watching Fineman years and years ago but he has really shifted over the past few years.
