Can long term, constant propaganda physically alter and damage the normal function of the brain?

Stupid and crazy does not fully explain the strange behavior of the Trump voters. I know Trump voters who are smart and sane. They are good people. For some reason they are now not thinking correctly. This is different, this is wide spread.

It has been proven that long term stress can alter and damage the normal function of the brain. It can lead to strange bad behavior, PTSD, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, nightmares and suicide.

Can long term propaganda do the same? Does long term propaganda lead to long term stress? I believe so.

Republican voters have been bombarded with propaganda by their leaders and news media for years. Day in and day out. Has that physically damaged many of their minds?

What would happen to someone if you put them in a room and forced them to watch Fox news 24 hours a day?

Does this explain what happened to the German people in the 1930s? The German people were under great stress before Hitler came into power. They were in a great, great depression. After Hitler took power he bombarded them with propaganda and many of the German people lost their fucking minds.

Does this explain what we are seeing now?

Even the MAGAbomber isn’t changing some of their minds. If we are ever successful in ridding ourselves of tRump and company, I wonder if they’ll get better or go through some kind of unhinged propaganda withdrawal?

If you are already stressed, you are more vulnerable. You are looking for solutions. Propaganda gives you someone to blame, and a leader to solve your problems. It activates basic defense mechanisms in the brain, which starts hunting for the targets they told you to blame.

Decades of hate radio, Fox News, trolls paid to drop right-wing propaganda on people's Facebook pages and websites - this is the result.

Millions of Americans literally believe things that are 100% false. Trump reads the script he's given, screaming "fake news," and the millions who cheer have no idea how they are misled.

There is no pathway back as long as Fox News is in operation.

It's cognitive psychology. That's why propaganda is so powerful.

When our Relatives (DP's) started coming in 47 and 48 from Germany. The stories of just how people were swept up in the NAZti Propaganda matches what you printed. Sad to say,my family had a family relative whom bought the whole NAZI thing, and she was latter convicted with War Crimes.

The Stain that no one ever mentioned at Family Reunions or for that matter, the secret.

It was the constant bombarding of Propaganda and people believing the big lie.
