Delusions of Conspiracies in Trumpland

Kathy Chenette, 62, a realtor from Mooresville, North Carolina, said she had read on Twitter that the same configuration of stickers on the back of the van had been photographed on the side of the van.

“This was obviously Photoshopped,” she said. “I think it’s a distraction against the invasion of illegal immigrants at the border. It’s all set up by Soros.”

“I bet $500 they are lying,” he said. “I bet it was a liberal who did it. Have you stopped to think why those bombs were only sent to high-level Democrats? They are trying to make it look like Donald Trump is encouraging terrorism.”

“It seems like a lot’s been planted to make it look like a Trump supporter did it,” said Carrie Pennington, 48.

“We just don’t know,” said Tyler Yelton, 43, who works as a landscaper. “Maybe he bought the van already with the stickers on it, or maybe this whole thing is a setup.”

I have absolutely no understanding of what is going on in Republican heads right now.

We just have to get the House back... I'm even thinking of going to Mass on Sunday, that's how desperate I'm feeling.

Their egos are so identified with the Trumpist hate that they cannot ever admit to being wrong, or that their hero might be wrong.

May the dark delusions of sentient beings be dispelled.
May all beings enjoy profound, brilliant glory.

I was shopping for groceries today and thinking as I passed people at Winco, "May you be free from pain."

I'm going to start wishing them profound, brilliant glory instead. I'd rather have some pain if I could have that.

I'm not a Buddhist, but I do know that when I pass people and think kind thoughts like

May you be safe
May you be free from pain
May you be happy

my heart opens and it's just a much better day for everyone. You aren't weird!

Wishing good for others is called "toglen" or taking and sending. Very common practice for developing boddicitta.

that is, nothing like Trump except white=
marginal job, no wealth, no privilege.

But Trump was able to seduce him with an image of himself as better than, say, President Obama. Yeah, okay, Obama was a Harvard-educated president who had risen from poverty to achievement by his own intelligence and character.

"But you're better! You're white!"
(And even that's not true, if he's part Filipino. jeez, the contortions these Trumpers put themselves through.)

They are cult followers

They are in a delusional alternate reality where facts. do. not. matter.

Sick!

And peeps wonder how Jim Jones got hundreds of people to SELL all their property, give their money to Jones and move thousands of miles to Guyana just to DIE.

Watch a couple of Trump rally's and you'll understand.
