Sources told Foreign Policy that White House National Security Advisor John Bolton is trying to squeeze out US Defense Secretary James Mattis by spreading rumors about his imminent departure.

Bolton and Mira Ricardel, the deputy national security advisor, have repeatedly clashed with Mattis, and believe he is "not ideologically aligned" Trump's administration.

One official said the irregularity of National Security Council meetings is a point of frustration for the Pentagon, and the president receives information "ad hoc, and often controlled by Bolton."

An NSC spokesperson declined to comment, and Mattis' allies insist he will not resign.

2. My thoughts too. Unbelievable but someone nicknamed Mad Dog is what is keeping us from

a big time breakout of war . Iran my guess . An install in Venezuela an aside, but yeah who knows what insane is thinking and what stupid will go for.
Our congress has to change for at least some hold on them
