Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs peddles conspiracy theory about suspicious packages

Congress should investigate collusion between fox 'news' and a political party.

----------------------------------------------

div class="excerpt"](CNN)Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs, who is prone to peddling conspiracy theories and is a prominent supporter of President Trump, asserted without evidence on Thursday that it was "fake news" that suspicious packages were mailed this week to high-profile Democrats and the New York City offices of CNN.

"Fake bombs," Dobbs wrote in a tweet posted to his verified account Thursday morning. "Who could possibly benefit by so much fakery?"

Dobbs deleted his tweet after immediate and widespread condemnation. Authorities have said that the bombs found in the packages were rudimentary, but functional.

After Dobbs deleted the tweet, he posted a second tweet which carried the same suggestion.

Seriously, I hope nobody actually invests based on what they say on FBN. I think it's mostly watched by people who fantasize about investing.

But there are a lot, (my father in law is one of them) who thinks Fox Business is ok to watch as well.

Let me clear that statement up a bit. He was/is a full blown Fox sponge. Hannity, Judge what's her name, Outnumbered, and Greg Gutfield. He loves(d) them all. I just cant tell anymore, sure he says he isnt, but I dont know for sure.

Then Brett Kavanaugh shit on the American public. He had no idea his daughter is a survivor of rape. This is how far removed from reality they and people like him are. So after he absolutely puts his foot in his mouth in regards to Dr Ford, and how women are out to get men. All hell breaks loose between my wife and him.

So now, he says he wont watch Fox news anymore, but we've walked in and he's watching Fox Business. Me being me, and calls out all shit out whenever I see it says, "I thought you gave up on Fox news. He's like, "Oh, it's just the business channel, it's not political at all."

This is the type of shit we are dealing with as a nation. This isnt some random troll on Facebook, Twitter, or online elsewhere. This is a father to a daughter who loves her. Who just found out a mere few weeks ago that she was a rape survivor when she was the same age as Dr Ford. That his own daughter faced the same ordeal. People called her a slur, her own mom didnt believe her. The police when finally were called, said they couldnt really do anything because they were both minors. It truly was a different time.
