Thread: I've been watching the ?⟑r⟑v⟑n rumors. MSM have been so focused on whether there is funny business (ie, foreign interference) around the organizers' social media accounts that they are overlooking larger, far more important narrative.
The Central American migrant ?⟑r⟑v⟑n and its ensuing media coverage - and especially debate + rumors - might be the defining theme of the final stretch of 2018 midterms. It's a raging controversy that's guaranteed to activate voter anger and affect turnout.
There's a particularly dominant rumor that's quickly solidified. It's been amplified, including indirectly, by MSM headlines & fact checkers. The rumor is: SºRºS is person who's funding the ?⟑r⟑v⟑n; that its purpose is to achieve favorable election outcome.
It's puzzling to me why no major news outlets or investigative journalists have done any serious work on *where* & *when* the claim originated. Or how it creeped into newspaper headlines through social media, other than pieces that say "no, this claim is not true" & "here's why."
Long story short, I found some patriot FB Groups (one of which is literally *administered* by a patriot FB Page) that have been very active in amplifying this controversy. One group has a contributor who's been seeding Soros-funded caravan rumors all over FB. Like it's her...job

what reporter, trying to cover the election, hears about a bunch of hondurans thousands of miles outside our country, and says, YES! that's it, that's the critical american election issue! honduran refugees in mexico!

and then, layer on the rumor that a favorite target of anti-semites could be funding this.

and get this, *he* is doing it to manipulate the election.

that's right, *the other guy* thought he could manipulate the american election by paying a bunch of hondurans to congregate near the border of mexico and honduras. yeah, that evil genius thought *that* was a sure-fire way to get *democrats* elected in america.

seriously, what report looks at all that and says yeah, that all makes perfect sense to me! you couldn't possibly be trolling me!

that don't seem obvious that then through the google algorthims links with the articles that have the fake news which boosts the fake news in ranking and it is self repeating then the whole thing takes form and comes out as whole racist messages.

words like c^r^v^n and S*r*os together, they aggregate to those articles. So in essence, if I understand this, we become the bots by using the words in other sentences together. Our lives turned in ourselves.

Strange how those damned things always seem to pop up just as a matter of convenience. But we should all focus on that rather than the fact that Rump is using an unsecured iPhone or that MAGAbomber is sending packages.

That is just how they do things. This is how their memes are started. This has nothing to do with the rest of the madness. We can't just focus on one nightmare, they are buckshot scattering bullets everywhere.

5. I always took the Soro's crap as ridiculous along with Pizzagate and HRC.

My bad. People actually jump on board. All seeming normal, regular people believe this stuff. I had one the other night go off that Soro is funding the march north. Ridiculous, I said. Then he made a comment about Soro being a Nazi sympathizer. That one I called out much more harshly and the young man backed down.

How do you fight this amount of disinformation.
