Donald Trump has his own "media" operation.
He has his own Twitter operation to say whatever he wants. All other "media" operations usually report on whatever he says. Also, he is subject to call the reporters together at any time, in order to get out a message that he wants to get out. Furthermore, he uses his "rallies" as propaganda for his followers. Most of the media will either show or report on those, also. He has control of the national media 24/7. All Trump - all the time.
There is little doubt but that he has his own "media" operation. He does the same thing as every other "media" outlet, except he does it with more bias, more division, more incitement than other "media" outlets.
When he says that the media is the "enemy of the people", he would not be that far off, if he included himself as the "media".
