Just remember...if NBC DOES shitcan Megyn Kelly, she will walk away with $69 MILLION.

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/10/megyn-kelly-nbc-just-two-days-blackface-blunder-report/

The Daily Mail tabloid is citing network sources who say that Kelly’s time at the network is over, just two days after she questioned whether it was offensive for white people to wear blackface on Halloween.

“Megyn Kelly is done,” one source told the publication. “She is not ever coming back.”

The NBC source then fumed about the massive $69 million contract that Kelly signed to leave Fox News for NBC.

“Here’s the worst part — her deal is a non-break deal — so she walks away with all that money,” the source said. “It’s disgusting and heads should roll here because of it.”

Can she go back to a Fox or even one of those worse marginal cable channels?
For some reason I have a bad feeling she won't just disappear.

there is probably a "no compete" clause. Usually it would be for the length of the original contract.

There are always clauses that protect the network such as "violation of standards" etc. Not saying she won't get a nice settlement but she ain't walking away with $69 million.

and they keep her employed doing as suggested a 3am show interviewing canned vegetables or alike. Force her to quit and then take away her cushy settlement agreement.

...then don't can her, just sideline her for the length of the contract.

Keep her off the air, or only on for the minimum needed to fulfill the terms of the contract. If she doesn't like it and wants to move elsewhere, they can renegotiate to waive a portion for early release.

But anybody who gave her a $69 million non-break contract in the first place (i.e., MSNBC execs) won't do that. They like her too much.

If I had a deal like that I would also say stupid things in an effort to get myself fired. Why go to work everyday when you can get paid $69 million to not work?

she thought she could use trump's play card and get away with it. But she overplayed her hand.

Let me guess...she'll write a children's book and start a line of low cal foods.
