White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Wednesday said President Trump could not have been more presidential when he was addressing the string of attempted bomb attacks targeting prominent Democrats, as well as CNN.
Trump initially retweeted Vice President Pence, saying I wholeheartedly agree with Pence, who tweeted that he condemns the actions and called the acts cowardly and despicable.
On Wednesday, Trump spoke briefly about the suspicious packages, condemning "acts or threats of political violence and making a call for unity.
Thursday morning, Trump took to Twitter to attack the New York Times and mainstream media, calling it Fake News for its latest story on Trumps cellphone habits.
