I just had a conversation with my neighbor

who is a history teacher and a Dem and he told me that when the fucking moron gets to be a real danger to the country that the CIA will take care of him. I told him that the CIA doesn't do that and he watches too many spy movies. Do they do it and I am being naive?

We're safe doubting that one, all right. I wouldn't bet my life savings that a renegade director in extreme circumstances wouldn't do something, but highly unlikely.

I'm remembering that the CIA is hardly a friend of the Russian FSB/KGB, or any other of our intelligence services, and yet they did nothing drastic to block the man Putin was trying to put in the WH. The most drastic thing they did was finally issue a joint statement about what was happening in autumn 2016 -- just an hour or two before the audio of Trump-the-sexual-predator broke and knocked it into a dusty corner.

He'll know, or you can ask his Mom?/Aunt?, Betsy DeVos. Prince has done wet work and is currently proposing to create an off-book mercenary army, which would do wet work as a matter of routine.

your neighbor is having ptsd and his mind activated defence mechanism by believing that cia will protect us and nothing too worry. In reality the worst has not even begun yet.

too many in his camp. Trump has many sympathizers inside the CIA and FBI. Ask Rudi. He use his contacts inside the FBI to learn about wikileaks and HRC e-mail stuff before the public knew.

There are many good men and women in both organizations but a few bad apples can really hurt our democracy.

If he was at all useful to them at the outset he no longer is, and their psychological profile of him must run into the thousands of pages by now. “Dementia” and “Commander in Chief” are an unacceptable combination, and so long as they can use the chaos to increase their leverage they will. After that, DJT finally gets that stroke everyone’s been expecting him to have.

I don’t watch any spy movies, but know enough about the true power structure in the world to hold these beliefs.

Actually, if it gets to the point where he turns into a real threat of starting an unnecessary nuclear war (and Great Pumpkin help us all if anyone can figure out why one would ever be "necessary" ), I think the military itself would find a way to eliminate the threat if civilian government refused or was inhibited from doing so. The Defense Department knows better than anyone that there wouldn't be a country left to defend inside of an hour.

The people who launch the nukes are trained to do so as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Nukes are not launched in five seconds at a whim. If a senior officer is convinced the order is in error or issued by someone deemed not to be compos mentis, up to and including CIC, such an order can be countermanded.

Certain elements associated with the Agency may have, in the past, partaken in activities which could be considered nefarious, and certainly would not be considered strictly legal...but the body of government that's meant to deal with a President who is unfit, a danger to the country, etc., is called "Congress."

That said, I would think if the orange fuckhead ever went against the will of his masters (i.e., Putin and his oligarchs), he would be disposed of quite quickly. Those people very definitely "do that."
