Arrest made after GOP campaign worker allegedly harassed, threatened at early-voting location

This was not the polling place I used a few days ago, another side of town.

Update with a suspect named, and from a different outlet.

The Republican campaign worker was harassed and threatened by some asshole with a BB gun.

There’s no mention of what the dope with the gun had as a motive.

I also notice that the police didn’t just roll up and kill him without question.


There’s really not much to this story. It may not have anything to do with politics.

The headline could use some work, but the video associated with the story should make it clear what was happening. Looks like this happened around 3ish today, and was reported on the late local news. Hopefully. today (as I write this), the story will flesh out some more details. There is a dominant political party in the General Assembly that is infamous for voter suppression, and it's not the party of the current Governor Roy Cooper.
