Do they have cellphone coverage yet? Maybe 2G?

It's deer hunting county, and vaguely referred to as 'up north' by pretty much everyone south of there.

side note: It's about 30 miles from Tigerton Dells, home of the former Posse Comitatus.

And (to my horror) I was booked into a hotel directly across the river from the Shitstain Sheraton, with 30-foot T R U M P letters visible from blocks and blocks away.

Luckily, my room had a view of the air shaft and a couple of windows, so it worked out about as nicely as it could have!

Milwaukee's Resistance Radio was broadcasting live from the rally. Before it started they interviewed a few people. The Ohio woman said this was her fourth or fifth Trump rally. It takes all kinds, I guess.

6. My question

Who is choosing these venues?

Is it all on the Rump, or do others get involved? You see, I'm thinking maybe the choices are a safety precaution; he is guaranteed a welcoming audience in rural mid-western towns. Plus, crowd control is extremely easy. I do realize it must also have to do with being assured of boosting his ego to be surrounded by so many adoring white folk, but I think something else is going on as well.

Recently it's been Council Bluffs, Mesa (way on the outskirts of Phoenix), Topeka, Charleston (WV), Springfield (MO), Elko, Fargo, Wilkes-Barre, Elkhart. Certainly not small towns per se, but usually medium-sized exurbs.

The striking bit, of course, is that he hardly ever goes to states he lost. 34 2018 campaign hate-fests to date, and of that total, exactly 4 have been held in states Clinton carried.

Call me a conspiracy nut, but the choice last night after a day of mail bombs intrigues me. Could be pure coincidence. Could be projection (he knows good and well he is riling up the deplorables).

Migrants good enough for the fields not good enough for the stores...
Would have been around a hundred miles from mosinee.
Bigots have thrived in Wisconsin for generations....
Trump should feel right at home....
