Thinking about Megyn Kelly and her blackface is/was O.K. back then

Got me pondering about things that were O.K. back then and , sadly, I have to agree with her. At one time it was O.K. to mock racial differences and ethnic differences and my family and relatives and even small town was in that group. It was also O.K. to tease and bully a guy who couldn't "take care of himself". It was also O.K. to get drunk and get behind a wheel of a car - the most was a suspension (maybe) of your driver license. It was O.K. to treat girls like objects that only had one function in life. IT was O.K. to smoke, drink and swear because that was part of your passage into adulthood.

Times have changed for the better , I am glad they have - for the most part.
