An emergency alert was just sent in NYC to "shelter in place"

Police Activity: Residents on W 58th St btw Columbus & 8th Av shelter in place immediately

You could see it come through on live TV. Is this a new threat?

It's a great building with really nice restaurants and shops. It also has a massive Whole Foods in the basement.
