Yes, Bob Mueller should be permitted to continue his investigation but an independent Commission could work without obstruction or interference from the White House. They could not be fired by Donald Trump.

Also, it would assure the people of this country that our leaders were doing all they could do to protect our democracy and our electoral system.

Unfortunately, the Special Counsel has been subject to severe pressure from the White House.

There are sure as hell enough of them to create a new one every week for the next two years if they wanted to.
