Shit's been flung at all candidates, surrogates, activists, supporters, etc. Thankfully, Bernie, Nina, and Dolores are the adults in the room, the ones not still fighting the primary. They're approaching this crucial midterm from all angles, which is something that you, as a Democrat, should support. But you don't seem to be. Curious...

You should leave it there so it leads back to your intentions with it.

Your post wasn't about "thanking" anyone, lol. Your post says that lots of people here like Huerta -- why not ALL the people here. What happened?

Anyway, it's great to see Huerta so esteemed and loved again. Indeed!

never heard of Huerta until a couple of years ago and haven't thought of her since. But thanks for telling me what my intentions are. Now, I don't *live* on DU the way many do, but I don't seem to recall many (any?) Huerta-themed OPs. Have you given us any? What's she been up to? I was happy to scroll through this OP and see that she was onstage with Bernie and Nina trying to get out the vote. Aren't you happy? Or does this just stick in your craw? LOL

That's why you made an attempt to align her with Bernie as if she is proof of something. What happened that would make you imply that not ALL Democrats love her?

She's an icon. I'm so glad she is loved and accepted again...

this election is really personal for me considering I'm closing in on retirement. I've voted for Dems since my first vote for Carter and I'm REALLY losing patience with those who don't even bother to vote. I'm thrilled to see Bernie, Nina, and Dolores on stage togehter -- approach this from ALL angles!

Hopefully she has learned a lesson from the past damage she caused. She gave lazy no-shows another excuse to stay home in 2016.

It was nice to see David Garcia with his supporters.
