I am so damn sick and tired of the braying and bellowing about how Democrats do not have a message.. Unlike the republicans who keep on point whether right or wrong.. God give me strength..
This is the mid-terms.. there is only one party that has a national leader up.. and we have a gazillion different candidates, trying to get themselves elected in THEIR districts.. each district having its own needs to be addressed..
The Democrats could not be more clear on the health care needs.. except no one wants to listen to it.. all you get is a yeah yeah yeah.. but what is their message
So pay attention to the candidates in your districts trying to pay attention to the needs of your district..and GOTV.. I know I am speaking to the choir in here..but I had to get that off my chest somewhere..

(4,642 posts)its just that corporate media ignores the party. Dems have news conferences, media events every day, al over the country but mainly DC but the media is all about tRump and who gives them the next big tax break.

(21,629 posts)is a generic term used by the GOP to promote voter suppression. Just like "both sides do it" and "both parties are the same".
any media person saying the left does "not have a message" is doing irresponsible journalism either because they are incompetent or willfully helping the GOP suppress the vote. A GOOD journalist asks a person what the feel about a Democratic candidate and if the answer is "they have no message" follows up by asking WHAT issue is important to that voter and then follows up THAT question by pointing out what the party or candidates position is on the issue and asking the vote which of those positions they share. Thereby you have TOLD THE VOTER what the message is (and that the message exists) and informed them AND the audience.

(50,304 posts)a message. At this point Democrats could be promising a million dollars to every household and they wouldn't get it covered on CNN or MSNBC.

(58,713 posts)First they flood the airwaves with "The Dems don't have a message."
Then they follow with "The Dems are going to destroy/take away/steal fill in the blank."
So, basically, they can say that Dems don't have a message, then they can define what the Dems "real" message is. Subtle, but their idiots buy into to it.
