John McCain gives a convoluted defense and Lindsey Graham goes smiley and nervous as all get up on the subject of Romney paying no taxes. McCain also said he didnt see the returns.

McCain-“Nothing in his tax returns showed that he did not pay taxes,” .

This is such a twisted use of words. Who speaks like that when they are telling the truth? Why didnt McCain just say Romney paid taxes? Is it that hard to say? It might be if those tax returns did show something. Interesting too is the phrase "I think". So Graham doesn't know beans and McCain just thinks too. Doesnt any republican KNOW?

I said before that I'm guessing Rmoney would be so secretive he'd only allow some major RNC player to vet them.

I was instantly slapped down and ASSURED it was probably just some low level flunkies. If that's so however, you'd think that one of them would have stepped forward by now and tried to grab a place in the punditry class.

The silence over who actually DID examine these returns makes me think its someone pretty high up with the Rethug power structure cuz nobody's talking and nobody seems to have a firm answer.
