At this point in time, what is the level of credibility of the bone saw story?

No, I'm not carrying water for the Saudis. I think they're totally corrupt monarchs who are fully capable of such a thing. Still, the information we're getting is from people with their own agenda and extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

This is not a rhetorical question. I really want to know what evidence we actually have.

The story is bad, but put out a false story that is really bad and later destroy the credibility of it. This brings the actual facts of a bad story into question.

On the other hand failure to produce the body for an independent investigation is evidence that tends to corroborate the story. On the other hand it could still be part of the overall disinformation campaign (always keep them guessing). The body later shows up whole, or the damage is demonstrated to be post mortem.

It served a propaganda purpose.

If you write unflattering stuff, they can kidnap you and saw you up into little pieces...

The Saudis now acknowledge that he is dead. So either the body is buried in the building or it came out of the building in pieces. I think the bone saw is still in play.

Were the Saudis seen carrying out bundles they weren’t seen going in with?

Saudis who entered the Consulate, about 15, had left. I do believe there is footage of them leaving with suitcases. Of course they were not dripping with blood so who knows.

However, the Saudis now say it was a fight that resulted in death. Evidently not meant to happen. In that case why lie in the first place? And why not produce the body to prove the cause of death? Why was a forensic pathologist in the Consulate?

...um... distinctive sounds made?

And they had an autopsy expert. Bone saws are a tool of that trade.
