It's not that I have that strong opinion about it one way or another--occasionally I might check it out, but usually if I'm watching news in the morning its CNN.
It's probably because I feel like I don't need to watch it because every morning there are about 50 different threads about 50 different things that were said by 50 different people on Morning Joe. So I already know everything that happens on Morning Joe without even watching it, and I still don't find any of it all that exciting.
In the end, what gets said on Morning Joe most likely will not have a major impact on day to day events or people's opinions.
Now, get off my lawn, kids.

(13,305 posts)Well said, and 100% accurate. I've gotten accused of MJ bashing. I don't like the show, but any time I've complained on here it's because of exactly what you said. I don't need THAT many people breathlessly detailing what those 2 occasionally lucid buffoons are saying EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
If you find it interesting then more power to you. I've got plenty of things that I engage in or watch or whatever that would bore most people to tears. The main difference is I don't feel the need to post about them every day, in multiple posts that barely talk about or actually say anything.

(43,191 posts)But apparently people like to talk about him/it.
I semi-regularly watch Rachel Maddow. Occassionally, I'll watch Lawrence O'Donnell. And--I'm being completely honest here--Brian Williams helps me go to sleep. No joke.
That's the main extent of my MSNBC watching.
Everyone else, it's kind of like people who like to talk about Doctor Who*--They love to talk and talk about it but being an outsider I am completely clueless as to what they are talking about.
*Nothing against Doctor Who fans. I'm not saying it's a bad show, it's just I don't have the time and energy to commit to watching it.

(47,564 posts)I don't care what Mika or Joe (or for that matter Lawrence or Rachel or Joy) said on the TV.
And I'm with you on the Dr Who comparison.
(For fun, I took a look at my trashed-word list right before I typed this reply. If I didn't think some hall monitor would alert on it, I'd post it just for the giggles....lol.)

(7,681 posts)I especially like the threads that say 'Joe is saying mean things about Democrats today! Why is he doing that?"
Uh, maybe because he's a hard-right Republican. I mean, did these people sleep through the '90s? Did they forget what he was like in Congress?
Who knows. Maybe they did, but they could always look it up if they need a refresher. It's pretty easy to find the info...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Scarborough#Tenure
Or do they somehow not remember how he got this MSNBC job? When he was just 'former congressman' Joe, constantly on Hardball as a guest, and always in full Republican talking point mode, always bashing Democrats...in much the same way Kellyanne Fitzpatrick did in her TV 'strategist' days?
I don't know. I guess maybe they missed all that too.
