1. Reality TV,... Write a script where the Saudi Prince is totally exonerated of any wrongdoings.

The underlings of the Prince shoulders all the consequences too.

It's other people who want and need a story - any story, no matter how incredulous - for cover. Trump would be A-OK with never talking about it again.

Trump probably said "So?" when he first heard about Khashoggi's death.

Others had to explain to him why it matters.

He still doesn't think it matters but will give lip service, half-heartedly, to being concerned. Like when he talks about consequences - he doesn't mean it. But saying it might get people off his back - which is something he does. Say the bare minimum to make it seem like he cares. He'll then spin his token words of nothingness into how he was fair and willing to listen.

Same way he did with the rapist.
