Witch Mitch McCONnell's PAC wants to take that seat away from Heidi. Individual donations are making that more difficult. (Maybe we'll be treated to the turtle man whining about being "literally assaulted" again).
The fight against voter suppression is also fueled by individual donations:

Good on ya!

(54,436 posts)I had promised not to sent one cent to any Senator who had publicly urged Al Franken to resign, but for her courageous vote on the Kavanawful nomination, I made an exception. It was more a symbol than something I thought would turn the tide, but symbols count, too.

(9,255 posts)I also live in a different state but she did the right thing and we need the Senate so I sent her $25
Also sent some to emily's list, dscc, dccc and a couple more Dems running for congress in my state.
Am also writing letters to infrequent Dem voters (https://votefwd.org/) - which, if you don't like to or can't canvass or make calls, is a great way to reach voters and encourage them to vote!
And of course I voted early and when I did there was a steady line - place was pretty busy which I hope is a good sign!
