Why is conservative media trying to silence Hillary by resurfacing Monica Lewinsky under the guise of #metoo?

Because Hillary’s microphone is enormous, powerful, and can compete with Trump’s. Conservatives are attempting to manipulate us into shunning the Clintons by bringing up the already litigated (and heavily investigated) Lewinsky scandal — a consensual affair that is vastly different than sexual assault.

Don’t be fooled: conservatives want us to have Clinton fatigue. They want us to think Hillary is “old news” and “toxic” in the #metoo era.

However, Hillary will always be a former First Lady, two-time Senator, Secretary of State, first-woman nominated for President by a major U.S. party, and the 2016 popular vote winner.

Hillary lived in the White House for 8 prosperous years and speaks with authority and conviction. Contrary to the false media narrative, millions of Americans listen to both her and Bill. We remember the 1990s and what a great era that was for our country.

So let us never forget that whenever Hillary speaks, millions and millions of people listen. That is something conservatives both hate and can never take away from her (unless they can successfully manipulate us into shunning her).

Hillary Rodham Clinton is one of the most articulate and intelligent fighters we have on our side. She is one of the few people with a microphone that can compete with Trump’s. That is why conservative media is attempting to manipulate us into shunning the Clintons through the use of #metoo.

Maybe conservatives are scared the Clintons are going on tour and will point to their successes during the 1990s and how much better they were at governing than Trump? How the economy thrived despite not cutting taxes for the wealthy. How our country operates better when we compromise and corporate.

Point is — the Clintons have a huge microphone. Whenever they speak, they reach millions of people. They know what they are talking about. And they aren’t afraid to sling mud and slam Trump. Fighting fire with fire is what the Clintons do best.

Granted, nobody is perfect. But Hillary shouldn’t be held responsible for her husband’s actions.

And guess what? If Hillary were to admit that Monica Lewinsky was an abuse of power, can you imagine the uproar that would cause? Hillary is in a no-win situation no matter what answer she gives, which is why conservatives are using this to their advantage.

Furthermore, Hillary’s defense of her husband, BIll Clinton, doesn’t erase a lifetime of advocating on behalf of women.

As for Bill... he should apologize to Monica Lewinsky and the country one more time for having a consensual affair. Due to the #metoo era, he must apologize one more time and then he can move beyond it.

Bill’s legacy of lifting 7 million Americans out of poverty, providing us with the Family and Medical Leave Act, and leaving us a budget surplus has been forever tainted by Monica Lewinsky. He was also subjected to an intense and partisan investigation. So unlike most people, Bill Clinton has faced numerous and long-lasting consequences for his actions. His legacy has been forever tainted.

But where are the consequences and investigations for Trump and his sexual assault accusations?

At the end of the day, I won’t be manipulated against two of the best fighters we have. Fighters with a track-record of success and results. Fighters that can reach millions of people with their status as two American icons. Fighters that can speak with authority, expertise, experience, and conviction. Fighters that will slam Trump and compete with him for the limelight.

So don’t let conservative media fool you into thinking the Clintons are toxic. That’s exactly what they want you to think so Trump can dominate the spotlight.

Personally, I can’t wait to see what the Clintons say and do on their worldwide tour.
