An Arkansas Republican on Thursday condemned a right-leaning group over an advertisement in support of his campaign airing on radio stations in predominantly African-American areas in the state.
Rep. French Hill (R-Ark.) tweeted Thursday evening that an ad warning black voters that white Democrats would bring back "lynchings" if they retake Congress in the fall ... "Girl, white Democrats will be lynching black men again," one unidentified voice says in the ad.
"Some may have heard an appalling ad on the radio. I condemn this outrageous ad in the strongest terms," Hill tweeted, while not linking to audio of the ad directly. "I do not support that message, and there is no place in Arkansas for this nonsense," he added
Hill's tweet referred to an ad from Black Americans for the President's Agenda, a right-leaning group formed in support of President Trump and chaired by Del. Jill Upson (R), a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates.

Black Americans for the President's Agenda will attack the soft underbellly of the Democrat Party with three initiatives-
Encourage county GOP leadership to address black voters and ask to work together on the above five policies in their communities.
Run an air game on urban contemporary radio asking many black voters for the first to vote their policy views by voting Republican in the 2018 and 2020 cycles.
I listened to the ad, holy cow🤦

(22,154 posts)station from airing. Don't they have a responsibility to their listeners to stop crazy ads such as this nonsense? I'm not advocating censure ship, but stop nonsense such as this, totally untrue, from being aired.
I got a feeling that the station is probably feeling a lot of heat in running such an ad. I'd certainly would protest the airing of such an ad on TV or radio here in MO.
