He won in 2012 because he got a good chunk of Republican crossover. He needs to keep it.

in some controversial comments about rape. He sort of got lucky, considering this is Indiana. Thankfully, he seems to remain popular enough here in Indiana, he *might* pull out another term.

But then again I thought the anti Pence sentiment would lift Gregg into the Governor's seat. So, I don't trust my "read" of how this state will vote.

He's boring and uninspiring. There's no excitement around him.

that is dishonest. More money for military defense doesn't put an extra dime in a soldiers pocket. Nor does our military need anymore of an edge than it already has. All increased military spending does at this point is help defense contractors get richer.

People here aren't thinking about putting more money in a soldiers pocket, they're thinking "Yeah, we need more military defense spending to keep up safe from foreigners!"

You think I'm kidding, but I'm not. In a blue state, he'd get destroyed over this ad. In a red state like Indiana, he's legitimately appealing to voters.

such open contempt for loyal Democrats. He better hope that Democrats in Indianapolis or Gary or whatever cities that are Democratic strongholds have such anti-Trump sentiments that they are willing to suck it up and vote for a candidate that has been disrespecting them in an effort to get center right voters.
