(2,786 posts)that is dishonest. More money for military defense doesn't put an extra dime in a soldiers pocket. Nor does our military need anymore of an edge than it already has. All increased military spending does at this point is help defense contractors get richer.

(6,377 posts)People here aren't thinking about putting more money in a soldiers pocket, they're thinking "Yeah, we need more military defense spending to keep up safe from foreigners!"
You think I'm kidding, but I'm not. In a blue state, he'd get destroyed over this ad. In a red state like Indiana, he's legitimately appealing to voters.

He better hope that Democrats in Indianapolis or Gary or whatever cities that are Democratic strongholds have such anti-Trump sentiments that they are willing to suck it up and vote for a candidate that has been disrespecting them in an effort to get center right voters.
