I can do either or. Have my mailing ballot, filled it out, but for extra precaution, I can also go to a selected location to vote. Obviously, it's one of the other. Which one do you recommend for Florida?

Then I can mark each candidate carefully and check.
No one is looking over my shoulder or waiting to get into a booth.
I'm very comfortable with voting in this manner, as I have done for the last 10 years or so.

(12,132 posts)and the early voting place is right around the corner from my house - actually closer than our regular polling place. I never have to wait in line at early voting. I would happily wait in line but I've never had to.
Plus, if I do mail-in, I don't get a sticker!

(31,399 posts)This year I walked 3 blocks from my new apartment to the State BoE office to vote on the first day of early voting. Went at 11 am. No line. Doesn't get any easier than that for me.
North Carolina State BoE mailed out a voting guide. I went on-line to the BoE website, put in my info, it brought up my registration, and I clicked a link to see a copy of a sample ballot for my precinct. Then I could research the referendums and the non-partisan offices (huh, find out the party registration of those running).
