**This is interesting and encouraging** TN SEN Bredesen (Democrat) 44% Heartburn (Repugnant) 43%

Democratic nominee Phil Bredesen has a slight edge over Republican Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee's U.S. Senate race, according to a new poll from Vanderbilt University.

The poll, released Thursday, found 44 percent of respondents said they would vote for Bredesen, compared to 43 percent for Blackburn.

The former governor's narrow advantage over the Brentwood congressman, however, falls within the poll's margin of error, which is plus or minus 4.9 percent.

Eight percent of respondents remained undecided on the race.

He’s close enough to win and Beto has a chance to win in TX with high Democratic turnout.

As a 35 year old and worked since I was 16, it looks like the monies I paid into SSI, Medicare and Medi-cal programs won't be around when I become a senior citizen. As for healthcare, I consider myself somewhat lucky because hubby has Kaiser and dental.

Please google her positions on almost any issue.
She is as far right as you can get on everything.
Think of Palin and Bachmann on steroids. The worst female politician ever.
She is as awful as Trump but smarter. And she’s a true believer in a Christian Taliban.

No matter how moderate you think Bredesen is or how angry you were over his Kavanaugh letter, he is light years better than Marsha, Marsha, Marsha !

I love MoveOn. But they were very short sighted when they pulled their support for Bredesen.

when they first started, I loved them and donated to them somewhat regularly. Loved their ad contest in the 2004 Bush/Kerry election.

However, when they've started pulling support for Democrats who weren't liberal enough, I wasn't too happy. I thought it was very short-sighted of them in general. While I agree with getting more liberal candidates elected, until Democrats have firm control of the presidency and both houses of Congress for a period of more than a few months, we need everybody with a (D) after their name supported and elected.

I told them that (in case they didn’t have any already) that they should hire some people from Red States to be on their board of directors or management team. Might give them a different perspective on how difficult it is to get Dems elected in red states.
I’ve been fighting that tough but good fight in the South for many years.

There is an enthusiasm gap and I don’t think it is being fully recognized in the polls.

Bredesen's Kavanaugh cop-out was a big mistake, but hopefully not the key issue that shapes this election.

He is a centrist Democrat and I will take that any time of day or night over someone as mean-spirited as Blackburn.

to sponsor a law that stopped the DEA from suing the Opioid makers. 60 Minutes did a piece on it which puts the spotlight on her evil work. Like the ad says "She is the worst of Washington"
