McConnell only has threatened medicare, medicaid and social security because he is assured that the GOP will not lose control of the government. Think of it, normally, such rhetoric only starts coming from the right AFTER an election. But now it's coming before an election, just weeks before. This would traditionally be a recipe for electoral loss, but McConnell is quite cavalier about it. Could it be McConnell knows something about the upcoming election results that the rest of us just aren't privy to? This may be flaged as conspiracy theory, and I'll take that risk, but something just ain't right here.
