Can't sleep tonight, too many horrible things going on in the world and in my mind. So I thought I'd ask this question, one that's been bothering me lately. Do you have faith in the Mueller investigation? I worry there are already too many obstacles in place, for any report to make a difference. The Supreme Court is useless to us now. The lower courts are packed with toadies and right wing McConnell nut jobs. The Senate is unlikely to go blue. And it always always tickles the back of my mind that Mueller, Rosenstein, even Comey - these guys are all Republicans. I'm in a very negative frame of mind tonight, but feel I need to face reality.

1. What do you mean by "have faith?"

Do I believe the Mueller investigation exists? - yes, I do.

Do I think it will directly result in the Trump cabal’s demise? Too soon to know, but I shall be surprised if what it reveals makes any but the dumbest segment of our population more willing to support him.

As I see it, the race is between how quickly he can deflect blame for all the coming negative consequences of his actions (thereby solidifying his stature amongst the Neanderthal set) and how quickly enough of the sentient members of our society get boiling mad and direct their anger directly at him and those who enable him.

As we progress, civil society will begin to break down around his enablers, and they will get no peace anywhere in public, which will cause them to circle the wagons even tighter, until the hungry and angry masses rip them from limb to limb.

So, it’s likely to get ugly, but the Fourth Reich, spearheaded by Donald Drumpf, is destined to fail, as do all movements headed by complete idiots.

2. None at all but if something comes out of it I will be delighted . Yes they are all republicans

You will see! just wait ! Tomorrow many members of congress stay tuned . Someone leaked and told me so !!! have seemed to tire of thier postings . Sad how many wanted to believe it was true and could happen just like that overnight , but they got a lot of hits and clicks out of wishes
Elections have consequences that is true and doesn't go away that easy

3. Nope, not at all especially after KavaNope and the FBI being ordered to limit investigation. I don't

... trust Red Don as far as I can throw him with a broke arm and would put money on it that the Russians hacked the kGOP and is blackmailing the lot of them after they've taken a ton of Russian money.

There will be a pound of flesh from a few of the top kGOP but that's it.

On the other hand

I don't think we're seeing the half of the Kremlin KKKlans corruption, Red Don seeing his kids go jail especially Kushner

4. Mueller is as serious as a heart attack

His Marine service, DOJ, FBI all part of a single sacred duty.

He has the same routine every day, early rise, focus.

It is a religious foundation to a commitment to a life of service.

He couldn't be at Valley Forge, Gettysburg or Normandy so he paid his dues for 42 years so that when his country needed him he would show what devotion to the principles in the Constitution means.

You could call it old school but it is older than that.

He doesn't care what we or anyone thinks he is marching to the voice that has guided him all the way back to when he volunteered to risk everything.

We can sleep tonight because a humble patriot has stepped up to take the job he has been preparing for 42 years.

He knows that this will be his legacy.

He will do the right thing for the right reason in the right way.

5. I do. We know the background and tenacity of Robert Mueller

And I think it's a misnomer to say it's all about him. There are more investigations than we know about going on - with information also passed on to state agencies. I believe that's why it's taking so long. And that's also why it would be impossible for Trump to shut down - dozens(?) of teams of investigators and prosecutors are working on this at both federal and state levels. And the fact that there have been so few leaks indicates these guys are pros.
