Bold prediction: Trump out of office and his family under indictment a month from today

Based on this:
https://0ptimus.decisiondeskhq.com/

Here's how I see it going down:
1. Nancy becomes Speaker-Elect Nov 6, 2018.
2. Mueller issues his grand finale indictment Spree, Friday, November 9, 2018 a.m, including surprises (not just Jared and Don Jr. but Eric, Ivanka, and Eric Prince as well). We will be stunned at the depth and breadth of the Trump family treason.
3. Trump resigns late evening Friday November 9, 2018.

He cannot withstand a Dem house majority and Mueller will move quickly that week to ensure he doesn't get any grand ideas about surviving a Dem majority either.

It may be that this whole "rogue" ploy to give the "newly Saudi prince in charge" (MBS, BSM SMB, whatever...) an out without direct accountability, is to shore-up the agreement Jared reached many months ago (along with massive monetary bail-out assistance), of a place he and his guilty entourage could go to (with no extradition treaty with US) when he feels his only options left are to either flee, or risk going to jail.

He won't need Air Force One.

Besides, I bet his OWN plane has a faux gold encrusted toilet to receive the golden turd.

I just hope that we don't all end up dealing with another fitzmas situation. If all Mueller does is issue a report, nothing will happen.

UNLESS we take back BOTH houses of Congress.

Such an indictment likely would be challenged and held unconstitutional by SCOTUS.

I’m betting that Don Jr. and others in the family get indicted and the Donald is identified by name as an unindicted co-conspirator. He then will be impeached by the House, which will be controlled by the Dems. The Senate, which will remain in the control of the Republicans, will refuse to try Trump. Maybe Trump resigns to save his son, but I doubt it.

I’m hoping that you are right, and that the Senate flips. But I don’t think it likely.

Once that happens, Special Counsel Mueller is no longer dealing with complicit GOP congress cretins, beholden and desperate to please Dotard. He will be unleashed. Also, Adam Schiff and Elijah Cummings being unleased will help out a lot.

I really do believe that Dem majority control of just one house is all Mueller needs to bring Trump down.

Additionally, I totally buy into your scenario that DT will be named as an unindicted co-conspirator in treasonous activites and I am counting on that along with the cumulative weight of the indictments to be what brings him down.

The one fly in the ointment is if the GOP still decides to hitch it's sails to a 25% approval President, which he would be once this comes to pass. If they do, then all bets are off.

72. You make two assumptions that may prove untrue.
Thu Oct 18, 2018, 09:43 AM

First, I’m not sure that Pelosi will be the Speaker. If there’s one thing I’ve learned about politicians, all of them crave power and most will climb over their own mothers to advance their own political ambitions, irrespective of party. My bet is that there will be other contenders lining up to be Speaker. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/10/18/one-third-non-incumbent-house-democratic-candidates-dont-support-nancy-pelosi/?utm_term=.28a5e207c6e5

As a practical matter, it won’t matter who the speaker is so long as the Dems have the majority. The investigations will commence either way.

Second, you assume that once the House impeaches, McConnell and the Republicans in the Senate will try Trump. I don’t see this as happening, and while the Constitution is unclear as to the Senate’s obligation to conduct trials when the House impeaches, historical precedent indicates that it simply can decline to take up the matter. It literally would take a smoking gun and really, really awful optics before McConnell commits to a trial or compels Trump to resign (like Watergate, where SCOTUS ordered the tapes disclosed and the Senate then buckled and got Nixon to resign so a trial would be unnecessary).

Maybe we’ll get lucky and McConnell will be named as a conspirator too.

Oct 2018

Sorry, I adore Ms Pelosi so much and can’t wait to see her be Speaker again, I perhaps put too much emphasis on her personally. She’s a personal hero of mine and that’s coming from a man! What I really meant is that a Dem majority House instantly brings Russia to the very fore and will embolden Mueller, if he’s a honest actor, to really bring the hammer down on Russiagate and he has power even before the new congress is sworn in.

As far as a senate trial, Trent Lott ruled in 1998 that a senate must hold a trial on impeachment if the house sends impeachment articles on over. So, while granted they don’t need to follow a precedent one of their very own set, they may just be run out of town if they don’t hold a trial

Further, I am betting that the sheer force of the post-election Mueller indictments alone forces Trump out and there will be no need for a polticized impeachment process.

Nov 6 matters so much because I firmly believe Mueller is just waiting to have an ally before he moves and he gets one if the election prediction model posted in the OP is even close to being accurate!

There are dangerous waters ahead, and the ship of state is not in the best of sea worthy conditions. I wish my gut told me otherwise. And I do hope you're right - or that, at least, the Dems take the House back and put the brakes on the destruction of this country.

But that's just not what I believe. Too much corruption and evil at the helm now.
