Robert Mueller Ready to Announce if Trump Campaign Colluded With Russia: Report
Reuters / Joshua Roberts

Special counsel Robert Mueller is “ready to deliver the key findings” of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, according to Bloomberg News. Two unnamed U.S. officials said Mueller will divulge what he’s found shortly after the November midterm elections as he faces growing pressure to produce more indictments or shut down his investigation. The announcements will reportedly focus on the two key planks of the investigation: whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, and whether Trump himself took any actions that constitute obstruction of justice. However, Mueller’s findings won’t necessarily be made public if he doesn’t secure unsealed indictments. He can present his findings only to his boss, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Trump was probably too stupid to actually mastermind a collusion, and the Russians too smart to try to coordinate with an idiot. And congress won't act on obstruction if they don't find an underlying crime.

I've been worried for some time that this is Fitzmas all over again. The only sliver of interest may be Jared and Juniors actions, including prior to the campaign itself.

Is there one Repug alive, including Mueller & Rosenstein, who will share the truth with the public and take action to prosecute the crime or is this just an elaborate cover-up? I trusted Mueller and Rosenstein until the Kavanaugh fiasco and plane ride, and now I just wonder, is the truth in Rosenstein or is he just another repug operative like all the rest, pretending to be one way and actually is just the opposite? I hate feeling like this, but after Kav, and the lengths they went to cover up the truth, it seems like the whole barrel is totally rotten.

I hope I'm wrong and that Rosenstein actually cares about America, it's people and it's laws and won't put up with traitor, criminal drumpf, but we'll see very shortly.

I pray that this is not true for Kavanaugh, and not for Trump.

This has rudy's grease stains on it. He has wanted this wrapped up for at least a year. Remember when he said it would be over around this time last year? Then new years? Then?

Muehler has a lot more indictments to go. There is roger stone, the whole fox squad, assange, and the family. That's even before he gets anywhere with trumps own name on it.

Will trump try to squash it? Yes. I don't see any other path for him and I'm sure it's what putin tells him to do.

That would surely spark a court battle, which would go to scotus. It would be viewed as obstruction of justice at this point.

One thing is certain. This won't end cleanly, and we likely will hate it about as much as the kav vote process.

snip from the article:

"The question of timing is critical. Mueller’s work won’t be concluded ahead of the Nov. 6 midterm elections, when Democrats hope to take control of the House and end Trump’s one-party hold on Washington.

But this timeline also raises questions about the future of the probe itself. Trump has signaled he may replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions after the election, a move that could bring in a new boss for Mueller. Rosenstein also might resign or be fired by Trump after the election."

Will we even know what is in the report? Will trump fire Rosenstein so he can appoint someone who will fire Mueller? With everyday, we see just how bad things are with trump. If the Dems don't win the House, we are so doomed.

...Russians, Chinese, whoever would help them take power and they're so arrogant they thought they could do it with no problem. I suspect Pence was the real candidate the Russians supported and it's why he's come out so clean, relatively speaking. Trump and his family are the sacrificial lambs to the plot. There will be no saving Trump's family while Kavanaugh may prevent Trump himself having to pay the piper. When Trump is gone we'll have to deal with Pence unless people VOTE them out of power and the elections are not compromised.

But, as for evidence of obstruction of justice, it will be much more ambiguous.

It will be given to Rod Rosenstein. We have to recall that Rosenstein made that very disturbing trip with Trump on AF1 a couple of weeks ago? They talked alone for 45 minutes, according to Trump. That was very suspicious to a lot of folks, in my opinion.

Rosenstein will have to make a stand. He will have to surrender his job if he comes back unfavorable for Donald Trump, I would think? But, who knows?

Nothing stays secret for long in D.C. It will leak despite everyone's efforts but not in time for the midterms.

But as far as public opinion goes, would it do anything to change anyone's mind anyway? Anyone who is looking can see what the GOP is and how far it's falling short. And Trump's base is a cult and they won't change.

It will be good when control of the House goes to Dems. The downside of that, watch for it--is that anything and everything that goes wrong for Baby Don will be their fault, not his! He'll have his boogie man. And he will launch into his reelection campaign will full force at the start of 2019.
