Turkey releases passport scans of men it says were involved in journalist's killing

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/middle_east/turkey-releases-passport-scans-of-men-it-says-were-involved-in-journalists-killing/2018/10/16/f425892e-d163-11e8-83d6-291fcead2ab1_story.html?utm_term=.e707aff914df

Turkish officials have provided The Washington Post with scans of passports that they say were carried by seven men who were part of a Saudi team involved in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2.

These passport scans add to the information made public by Turkey as it seeks to fill out the narrative of what happened to Khashoggi, a Post contributor who vanished after entering the consulate to obtain a document he needed for his upcoming wedding.

The Post is publishing the passport scans but obscuring the faces and names of the men because it has not independently verified their identities.

Within days of Khashoggi’s disappearance, Turkish investigators said they had pieced together most of the mystery, concluding that he had been killed inside the consulate and dismembered.

because Trump, Kushner, and their minions are probably compromised), spill the beans, and beg for protection.

That is their only chance of getting out of this alive.

(Of course, if they do this, their families will be arrested, tortured, and killed.)

with Bluetooth. It was recording while he was being killed and dismembered, and the audio was sent to iCloud, where the audio was preserved despite the fact the watch was later destroyed.

And they made the effort to track down his Apple watch data before the CIA or the Saudis got to it. This isn't about going after the U.S., this is about showing up the Saudis.

I know Erdogan is interested in bringing back the old Ottoman empire with the help of some rather shady deals with the Russians, and I doubt he or his government really care that much about foreigners killing foreigners on their soil for political reasons, but I do wonder what they have against the new king of the Saudis. The Saudi oil dumping? Water policy?
I'll have to admit with the shear chaos of Drumpf's Middle East "policy" and Kushener's criminally treasonous grifting to keep from paying the billions of dollars he screwed himself over with 666 Park Ave., I've rather lost the thread.
