I am 71 years old. I have three college degrees.

I'm quite sure I am an "elder." But am I "wise?" Just asking. Don't let pondering this post keep you from looking around the board tonight though.

Don't care much for indirect call outs though. Seems like something a wise-ass would do.

Then again, whenever someone tells me not to be a wise-ass, I tell them I can't help it - I was born this way.

Book smarts I have in spades. Real world smarts, maybe not so much. Which is more valuable in the long run, and which leads to a better life?
