If we can get more left leaning people to show up at the voting booth than the other side, those polls won't mean squat. If every one of the hundreds of thousands of people who lurk this forum can get one or two extra people out to vote who don't usually vote the midterms, then we could have a chance of taking over the Senate as well as the House.
Every single person here should be doing anything they can to get the word out to vote for Dems next month. Something that I think helps is printing off pro-Democrat flyers, such as "Help Save America - Vote Democratic" or something to that effect, and pinning them on every bulletin board in your town. The more enthusiasm that people see coming from our side, the more likely it will have a positive effect on the fence sitters come voting day.
On edit: Here is the list of the 10 vital states where Democrats are competitive in the Senate races, thanks to Funtatlaguy who posted this list in his reply on this thread. If you live in one of those states, do whatever it takes to get our people out to vote. If you live in any other state, do the same. There is too much at stake to do otherwise.

(94,602 posts)Unless you're invalidating the entire field of polling (in which case you have no evidence pointing to a "blue wave" , those left leaning people are either not registered, or have not indicated that they're likely to show up to vote.
