National Conversation on Cannabis--in Canada.

I am jealous. This state by state thingy here is not going well IMHO.

On Sunday, The National will air a town hall on cannabis. The show will pose pressing questions from Canadians to Bill Blair, the Minister of Border Security and Organized Crime Reduction, president of the Canadian Medical Association Dr. Gigi Osler, and Kirk Tousaw, a lawyer and consultant for Canopy Growth Corp.

Only one legal outlet in the entire province will be open on the first day and that is in Kamloops in the south-central interior. They've only had a year and a half to prepare for it and still couldn't make it happen in an efficient manner. There will still be "dispensaries" but their legal status is up in the air at the moment and I'm hoping the police don't come down on them until the government gets their shit together.
