New Forecast Sees Democrats Winning 229 House Seats

October 12, 2018 at 10:31 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Harry Enten: “My best estimate gives the Democrats a 23-seat majority in the House. That means they win 229 seats. However, the margin of error is wide enough that they could end up with 205 seats, short of a majority, or 262 seats, well more than needed for a majority.”

Senate was such a tough get this go around, and it isn't breaking right down the stretch.

REALLY would be good to have a more substantive win in the House - cause dems ain't reps, it isn't one uniform voting block, and also the message it will send ...

Not sure I like calling that a "23-sear majority", but at least now I understand where the number came from....
