the saddest part about Trump bringing a mentally ill rapper to the White House to take the media's focus off climate change, the election, and his tax evasion is that it totally worked

at times day-by-day.

Last week it was the attempted rapist onto SCOTUS, this week it's the bipolar rapper embarrassing himself in the Oval office.

And every preceeding week has been just as jaw-dropping, just as outrageous, just as 25th Amendment worthy.

God help us.

THAT is the saddest thing!!

Michelle Obama pointed out that this House belongs to all of us because it was built by slaves and we honor it for the people who built it.

These men tried to dishonor their work with their disrespect.

A brilliant and dignified black family showed the country and the world that they were as good as some and better than most who held this office.

Now we wallow in mud and excrement.

Do I want to see America great again? Yes, I long for it. This stench is unbearable.

But what does Trump care? He's got one of his obviously mentally ill fans wearing a MAGA hat and gushing on him.

Kanye even tried to say that Trump was kind of like a father figure to him. "Male energy."
Gah.

So I can't judge. Is Kanye really "a musical genius?" Someone who knows, what do you think?

He's not crazy, just ad libbing. He also confessed to suffering from sleep deprivation and rejected the label "bi-polar." Many consider the casual label "crazy" to be insulting to people with actual mental illness. (See link below).

Kanye is certainly helping to distract the media from hurricanes, market meltdowns and Trump's tax corruption, but he's not mentally ill. Personally, I find all DU diatribes against artists offensive. Kanye may be displaying narcissistic tendencies (like Trump himself), but American society is so cheap when it comes to paying artists, and so mean to the people that create their music and movies, that only the flagrant self-promoters survive.

Kanye is playing games with this installed puppet. He's hugging the man who was never really loved by his parents. He even evoked the first smile I've ever seen from the fascist. Maybe he's up to something. Maybe he's trying (although not necessarily succeeding) in putting some body into the lesson plan – i.e. Mr. President, black lives matter and they are real, and this one's in your office nearly jumping in your lap. He actually got the idiot to smile.

Maybe he's attempting a transformation, maybe he's improvising in that venerable old jazz tradition, or maybe he's just promoting his next album.

Or maybe, like Trump, he's just dangerously winging it. But he isn't crazy.

12 hours later, 1 reply 9 recs 400 something views and dropped like a rock because of the avalanche of OMG DID YOU HEAR ABOUT KANYE KANYE KANYE? threads.

The kid was basically disemboweled in the middle of the street in broad daylight after having been chased down because his attackers *thought* he was gay. And they recorded their attack on video.

But enough about things that aren't Kanye West's antics...

There's got to be a freak show to complement the smoke and mirrors. Today was just more sleight of hand. That's why I refuse to call him the president. The closest I'm getting to that word with him is "pres"tidigitation. He's a sociopath, an abusive sexual predator, a criminal and a con. My disgust for him knows no limits. The only good thing to come out of today's diversionary tactics, was that brief moment when I detected a touch of fear in his body language. Just for a moment I was at the circus and seeing, in my mind's eye, that moment when the tiger takes a lunge at the ringmaster. If only.

Thanks for the post, Demovictory9.

Love, peace and shelter,
