The local news just reported for our large metropolitan city especially, the absentee voting is as high as 2016 presidential election. Wow! Plus, we have a few weeks to go.
I mailed mine in. It felt good to vote for all the Dems!

I needed some fun today.
I recommended your award winning, extended enjoyment voting method to "LBM20" post #22 in this thread.

(14,565 posts)This is in Miami. I normally early vote but this time I'll be out of town throughout.
I drove directly to the post office to mail the ballot, instead of trusting the carrier process

(9,828 posts)Apparently GA law requires you to put your birthdate (mo-date-year) on the yellow envelope where you sign the oath and enclose your ballot. The problem is that the line for filling in the information on oath says (Month and Day). We called the local registrar and were told that as long as you had the month and day, the ballot would not be disqualified. Just to be safe, I would advise everyone to write their info very clearly--month, date, and year.
I know that I am just paranoid as hell, but I don't trust Brian Kemp or the GOP. My vote might just be disqualified because it doesn't smell right. I am fortunate to live in an area where the local voter registration folks are very open and non partisan. They try very hard to make sure the information they give is accurate.

The definition of this is "conflict of interest" Damn!
