ric Trump on Tuesday tried to boost Republican hopes of holding onto Congress in the 2018 midterm elections by blatantly stealing a graphic used by the progressive Rock the Vote Action Fund.
Writing on Twitter, the second Trump son encouraged followers in 16 different states to register to vote by the end of Tuesdays deadline. To illustrate his point, the second Trump son then posted a photo of a map that displayed voter registration deadlines in all 50 states.
The Rock the Vote Action Fund, however, pointed out that Trump was using their map and they even noted that Trump went so far as to scrub their logo off his version of the map.
We know youre accustomed to ripping folks off, but claiming our graphic for partisan hackery when you support voter suppression & the disenfranchisement of millions is gross, even for you, the fund wrote in response.

(5,995 posts)Scrubbing the logo from the graphic seems more technically sophisticated than I'd expect.
OTOH, getting caught red handed is totally expected.

NEW YORKGrowing increasingly worried as news reports indicated that he communicated with the whistleblower organization during his fathers presidential campaign, a panicked Donald Trump Jr. reportedly tried to cover up his contact with WikiLeaks Friday by frantically deleting the Mozilla Firefox icon from his desktop. Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, I gotta make sure they never, ever track me down, said Trump, who dragged and dropped the Firefox icon on his home screen to the computers recycling bin and then proceeded to turn off his Wi-Fi, close the laptop without powering down, insert the device into a gel sleeve, and hide it under his bed for maximum protection. I hafta be super careful. These feds are breathing down my neck, so Im gonna go off the grid for a little bit. At press time, Trump, who deemed the situation an unexpected emergency, retrieved the laptop, restored the icon, and used the browser to order food delivery before deleting it again and carefully concealing the computer under a blanket.

(7,218 posts)This guy is telling others to register and vote...????
Said the guy whose step-mother, sister, and brother-in-law failed to register to vote for NY's April 2016 primary.
Said the guy whose step-mother did not sign the envelope that contained her completed absentee ballot before she sent it in for the general election, making it invalid.
Said the guy whose sister did not mail her absentee ballot in until Election Day, by law too late to be counted.
Said the guy whose brother-in-law didn't mail in his ballot at all!
Said the guy whose vile narcissistic father got his own date of birth wrong on his absentee ballot.
Said the guy whose brother (#1 son and don't you forget it!) told his 2.2 million Twitter followers to go out and vote on Wednesday, the day AFTER the election.
Fun fact: He did that twice!! Once in Virginia, and again-in West Virginia.
