Humanity is dead.
As you see : Endless Wars, millions of refugees, shameless eliminations of the oppositionists ,unpunishable sexual assaults and heartless attacks against the free press etc..Then you see this and suddenly your faith in humanity is restored #TuesdayThoughts

(102,301 posts)I can NOT walk by a homeless person with a dog without giving them something.
Admittedly, I don't always give to every homeless person because I just can't. But when I see them with a dog, I just can not NOT.

(3,259 posts)A good portion of our homeless population had dogs. Some with small puppies. They simply got more money.
Not saying it is good or bad. One of the homeless persons staying right outside of my complex would have a different every couple of weeks.
I can see real positive and negatives to things like this. I don't see it as inherently good or bad.

(102,301 posts)rather than really helping when I give money... I can't afford to give everyone I see money any way, so I look on their having kids with them or what appear to be well cared for, if thin dogs as a hopeful sign that my help might really BE help. While I am aware that some of them are mere "props", I still can't walk on by.
