After the midterms, Rosenstein is toast.

the status of the Mueller investigation. Or has the orange diarrhea mouth put a stop to that, too?

Mueller seems have been pretty aggressive. Although I suppose it’s possible Rosenstein coulda tipped his hamd that they do not intend to aggressively pursue atrump himself. Maybe they softballed the obstruction stuff? That would be soul crushing.

And he thinks Mueller saying he isn’t the target of the investigation is the same as being exonerated.

It's like Trump has some pods hanging around, he takes a critic golfing or in this case a ride on his big, beautiful airplane, and then they come back different.

Will Rosenstein slobber praise all over Trump after the assimilation? Or will he have gotten an expired pod like Lindsey Graham and come back rabid, gnashing at the teeth?

Will Rosenstein protect Trump from Mueller?

12. That's my guess. Then Trumpist Noel Francisco takes control of and "pauses

...for review" the Mueller probe after, yes, Rosenstein gets the boot.

Through Francisco, Trump starts to control major aspects of the investigation of himself, his campaign, his obstruction, Russia, and his financial crimes. Like the WH just did on the FBI's sham BI of Kavanaugh.

Mueller, unwilling to provide cover for the charade, resigns -- if he's not fired first for having complained about Trump golf club dues once upon a time. Francisco replaces various other investigators on the probe... the "Angry Democrats."

Whatever product the newly re-staffed, pared down, tightly muzzled team does issue, goes straight to the White House and isn't seen by anybody else.

Huckasands summarizes what it means for us. Any deets we need to know, Soviet Agent Orange himself will decide and, in totally truthful and apolitical 280-character blocks, spoon out to us.

Then, what? Some of the Secret Lodestar Trump Containment Squad, not fully cool with the New Authoritarian America, get their hands on and start leaking some of the real evidence?

Or, maybe the Supreme Court will save America from Trump and his Republican cohorts? Oh, wait... no, forget that.

No, I have no fucking idea what will actually happen. But this is a DoJ process, Trump has his man ready in the Solicitor General spot below Rosenstein, and after mid terms Trump is unleashed from that concern. The above are some of my fears about what might happen.

Can the press, a Democratic House, and an angry public really prevent something like this? I don't know.
