Also, 'Womens share of absentee ballots has gone from 51% in 2017 to 54% in 2018,' and '[t]he big change is youth voters (18-25) [which] has gone from 22% of ballots submitted to 36%. (1673 ballots to 5086 ballots). These numbers favor Wexton.'

(4,305 posts)Here we do NOT open mail in ballots UNTIL election day. If they are opening and counting ballots already that is a SURE way to mess with voters minds and sway votes.

(10,842 posts)that percentage of youth votes from 22% to 36%. Just yesterday, a Gallup poll was indicating that the youth vote nationally was a mere 24%. We hold these VA margins across the board until Election Day?

(9,875 posts)Of course more people will vote in a Congressional election year. A comparison to last year, when there were no congressional elections, means nothing.

(56,829 posts)over 400,000 votes were cast in this race, but that was a presidential year. Comstock won by about 6 points
In 2014, the total was a tad shy of 223,000. Comstock won by 16 points.
I'd like to see absentee ballots compared to 2014. Might be a better comparison.
