Hurricane watches are up for Alabama, the Florida panhandle; Tropical Storm

warnings for Northwestern Florida to Tampa Bay. Folks on the border with Alabama and Mississippi pay attention. Michael has lots of rain.

It's 70mph now and moving at 7mph which gives it loads of time for further development. This could be bad.

as the track (so far) is running through areas that could flood rivers upstream, where that water will eventually flow downstream back into the already Florence-impacted areas.

I've got jobs running in Tampa Bay and Jacksonville on the water. I'm juggling things like mad right now, getting boats mobilized and setup. I didn't need this shit this week.

Apparently people are already making runs on the stores on the Gulf side.

but I'm unsure of the effect all this churning water will have on that.

It's supposed to be a quick mover so I hope that minimizes the flooding issues.
